今古白鶴首花入

利茶土窯にて制作。赤美濃土を用いた「今古白鶴首花入」です。

全体に二層の釉薬を施しております。まず透明釉を掛け、その上に今古釉の中でも特に白さを強調した調合を重ね、酸化焼成1210℃で焼き上げました。椿が最も多く用いられるこの季節にふさわしい花入です。細く長く伸びた首が、椿の蕾や梅の一枝を美しく引き立てます。

Konko Shiro Tsurukubi Hanaire

Made at RichadoGama using red Mino clay. There are 2 layers of glaze applied over the whole piece, a clear formula first with my Konko-Yū glaze on top and fired at 1210℃ in oxidation. Ideally suited to this time of the year when camellias are the most commonly used flower.

The long slender neck of the vase shows off the flower bud beautifully.
