紅白茶碗銘 “春風”

美濃の赤土を用いて轆轤成形し、適度な硬さになってから手削りした。

素焼きの後、数種の釉薬と化粧を施したことで大胆な動きがある仕上がりになり “春風” と名付けた。

この茶碗が最も生き生きするのは抹茶が入っているときです。

Kouhaku Chawan “Shunpu”
Red & White Tea Bowl, named “Spring Wind”

Wheel-thrown with Mino red clay and hand-trimmed, I chose to name this bowl “Spring Wind”, due to the feeling created by the dynamic layering of multiple slips and glaze. The bowl’s most beautiful moment is when it’s filled with matcha. Go with the flow, feel the wind blow!
